Take care of YOU! We have been hearing more and more about Repetitive Strain Injuries, Fatigue and Pain which leads to a shortened career of Dental Hygiene! Take time for yourself. We get so busy during the day that we often don’t take even a couple of minutes to stretch throughout the day. Make it an effort to stretch and move your body. Hydrate frequently throughout the day by drinking water. Eat healthy snacks on the go! Go out for a walk (if you have time over lunch) to clear your head and re-energize yourself for the afternoon. Meditate for 5 minutes (there are lots of free aps). In order for us to create career longevity we need to pay attention to the little things we do every day. What we do or don’t do every day matters.
